The Creston Valley is situated on a rolling benchland above the Kootenay River and extends north from the US border. Much of the valley floor is reclaimed marshland which contains some of the most fertile farming land in the province.
Creston offers visitors shopping facilities in both downtown and the Mall. Campgrounds and RV parks are plentiful.
