c8.gif - 6585 Bytes The Creston Valley is situated on a rolling benchland above the Kootenay River and extends north from the US border. Much of the valley floor is reclaimed marshland which contains some of the most fertile farming land in the province.

Creston offers visitors shopping facilities in both downtown and the Mall. Motels and hotels are abundant throughout the Creston area. Numerous restaurants that cater to all tastes for dining in or take out are plentiful in the area.

This is a recognized area for the fine quality of its agricultural products. Grain and alfalfa have been important commercial crops in the Valley for many years. Many fruits and vegetables are grown for distribution throughout the world.
A modern airport with paved runway is a bonus to the valley.
